The Rocky Mountain Bicycle Boys is a casual club for mountain bikers who love the thrill and camaraderie that comes from off-road riding with their friends. We especially enjoy exploring the endless miles of spectacular, scenic trails of Colorado's unique geography and history.

Dog Days of Summer

Despite the many, many record-breaking hot days this summer, we hope you've still been able to head outdoors to enjoy yourselves.

As you may have noticed, there are an awful lot of dog pictures in our Photo section! Damn, is this a bike club or a dog club?!? The answer is "Yes!" For many of us, our vacations involve taking along our furry best friends. Several of us enjoyed a relaxing vacation near Cripple Creek around the 4th of July to escape the heat and crazy fireworks in the big cities. We're looking forward to more fun with our doggos on the other trips coming up in the next several weeks!

Speaking of which, we do have two trips formally on the books, while a winter trip is still in the earliest planning phases. Please check them out and get with the trip sponsors if you'd like to join in the fun.

Again, sorry for the long COVID hiatus. We will strive to get back to our normal habits as we ease into post-pandemic life. If you have any trip/ride ideas or suggestions on how to better run your club or our website, please let us know at Remember: no one listens to your flapping clap trap or clapping flap trap better than the RMBB. Hmmm, I think that should be our new club motto.

Happy Trails!

Newly Added Events

We'll explore a part of state we often just drive through on our way to Durango. This year's fall foliage trip will center around Del Norte and South Fork in southern Colorado. We'll stay four nights at a large rental home between the two towns. Day activities are open to hikes, bike rides, sightseeing drives, visiting local stores, or just hanging and relaxing at the home. Note: this trip is dog-friendly, and two regular, four-legged poochies will be coming along. Two group dinners at home are included. Costs range from $210 to $425, depending on accommodations. While this trip has filled up, the trip sponsor will allow an extra cot to be set up for anyone interested in joining ($210 option). Please contact for more information or if you're interested.

RMBB will mark the end of summer with a Labor Day weekend return to Colorado's beautiful Grand Valley. Again this year, our primary base of operations will be Casa Mesa Vista, a spacious property familiar to those who made the trip last year. Those who've visited 'Junction in years past will remember the stunning Echo Canyon Retreat, which will be offered this year as a premium upgrade. We'll visit local breweries and restaurants for evening meals. You’re free to plan your own activities each day or join in as separate groups break out to do their things. Cost ranges from $180 to $540 depending on accommodations. Sorry, this trip has filled. Please contact to get on the waiting list or for more details.
