Trip Report: 2011 Moab Memorial Day Weekend Trip

The Memorial Day holiday just past was the perfect occasion for the group to take to the desert in Moab. A flurry of last-minute applications prompted us to reserve a third condo to house the eighteen fellows who took part in what has become an annual rite of spring. The group was evenly divided between hikers (who explored Arches and Canyonlands National Parks) and bikers (who rode such iconic landmarks as Porcupine Rim, Flat Pass, Klondike Bluffs and parts of the new Magnificent Seven trails). Six of the party had never been to Moab before, and so were particularly enthused about the adventure. All agreed it was a great trip!
