South Fooses Creek Trail
The South Fooses Creek Trail is a very popular 8-mile track branching off from the Monarch Crest. While the boulder fields at the start may seem intimidating, riders who continue are rewarded with some spectacularly tight and very rideable singletrack, winding through the lush forests around Fooses Creek like a green tunnel. Log bridges keep riders dry over the numerous stream crossings. A shuttle is required at CR-225 unless riders want to crank the highway back up to the pass.
This is where South Fooses comes off from the Crest trail.
