Imogene Pass Road
Imogene Pass, at 13,114', is the highest pass in the rugged San Juan mountain range. Climbing over this formidable pass is 17-mile Imogene Pass Road connecting Telluride with Ouray. This jeep road to the pass is steep and strewn with boulders and deep ruts. There is no mercy. The top only gets steeper, boulderier, and ruttier! With courage and a miracle, riders reaching the top can see all the way to Utah, 90 miles away.
Called Tomboy Rd in north end of town.
