Coulton Creek / Scott's Run Loops
From the Coulton Creek trailhead, the trail run 9.3 miles, mainly on singletrack, in a loop. Though the elevation gain is only 1100 feet, there are some steep ascents and descents and the ride can be pretty rough in spots. While the trail can be ridden in either direction, most prefer to go clockwise. This trail will appeal to intermediate and skilled riders. When linked with the Scott's Run trail, the distance traveled jumps to 17.6 miles. Scott's Run is another loop trail that can be linked with the Coulton Creek trail. Scott's is rated advanced, with an elevation gain of 1140 feet. Taken together, these two trails present a worthy challenge to the serious biker.
