| Description |
Named after the mountain range dividing Breckenridge from Copper, this 30-mile paved bike path goes by several other names: Vail Pass Bike Path and Summit County Bike Path being the most familiar. It is perhaps the most popular trail in all of Summit County, attracting hundreds of bikers, walkers, runners, roller bladers, and baby strollers almost every day. This well-maintained bike path connects Breckenridge to Frisco, then runs along I-70 to Copper Mountain, up and over Vail Pass into Vail. The bike path is busiest on warm summer days and late September when the aspens turn the area into a golden splendor. |
