Here’s a fairly new trail that opened in mid-1997, and its awesomeness is spreading the word faster than your fastest downhill run. Of the 12.9 miles that make up this point-to-point ride, 10 miles of it is on intermediately technical singletrack with some advanced sections thrown in to keep you on your toes. The elevation gain is not exhausting, thanks to the variety of ups and downs throughout the route. And variety is what makes this trail a delight: twisting and turning, weaving past conifer forests and huge boulders, and ascending and descending steep terrain through tight and wide switchbacks.
