A long, gentle pedal from Colorado Springs, through the U.S. Air Force Academy to Palmer Lake along an old rail route.  Not much in the way of obstacles.  A good stroll of a ride in the shadow of Pikes Peak.  While on the USAFA grounds, riders must carry a photo ID and wear helmets.  Keep in mind this is a busy trail with lots of different user groups.  Tread: 17 miles of wide, gravel trail in excellent shape.
