Argentine Pass Trail
This 21-mile epic trail follows the old railroad grade from Georgetown to the ghost town of Waldorf and beyond. It begins along a forest service road for 1/4 mile then continues on mostly as singletrack up to the Pass. All along the way, riders may enjoy some great scenery weaving through the aspen and pine forests or rolling across the alpine meadows near the Pass. At the town of Waldorf, bikers may explore some of the remaining mining structures. The trail continues further up over 13,200' Argentine Pass then drops perilously down some nasty singletrack into the town of Montezuma.
Less than one mile after the first lake along Guanella Pass Road from Georgetown.
