Hagerman Pass Road
Once the old Colorado Midland Railroad, Hagerman Pass Road connects Leadville to the Fryingpan River Valley over 11,900' Hagerman Pass. The ride up to and over the pass is technically easy with only scattered potholes and some stray rocks to get in the way of bikers. However, due to the road's high altitude, the ride won't feel easy. Luckily, bordering the road are three Wilderness Areas, a couple of fourteeners, and several alpine lakes, all of which make for some truly spectacular scenery.
