The Two-Elk Trail ranks as one of the club favorites for its scenery, miles of uninterrupted downhill, and numerous technical challenges. The trail is routinely done as a shuttle with bikers starting at Vail Pass and ending in the small town of Minturn. The trail itself may be accessed directly from I-70 or from the Commando Run. While the top is fairly smooth and easy, the bottom of Two-Elk is notorious for its many blind twists, roots, and rocky drop-offs.
