Montgomery Pass Trail
This short, 6.5-mile trail gives bikers the unique option to ride into or out of the Park off from the normal entrance on Highway 14.  To enter the park, bikers start at the Zimmerman Lake trailhead on a jeep road turn-off from the highway.  After an initial hump of 1.5 miles and 1000' of climbing up to the top of Montgomery Pass, bikers can bask in some of the most amazing panoramas of the the entire Medicine Bow and Never Summer Mountain Ranges.  The next reward is the 5 miles of blazing downhill on Montgomery Pass Jeep Road which'll take them into the heart of the park at Michigan Lake.  Note: bikes are not allowed above treeline so be prepared to carry your steed for a quarter mile at the top of Montgomery Pass. West off from Hwy 14.  Hard to find.
