Wilson Lake State Park
Wilson State Park is located on the south side of Wilson Reservoir is one of Kansas' premier recreation hot spots to fish, hike, water-ski, or just enjoy the outdoors. The park is divided into two areas: Hell Creek and Otoe. The Switchgrass Trail, one of the best mountain bike trails in the state, provides 20 miles of zipping around short grass prairie and along the edges of Wilson Lake. At times the trail even edges against the sandstone bluffs, giving a bit of a Moab feel. Of course, the lake is available for an after ride cool down.
