Snodgrass Trail
This 3.5-mile singletrack trail runs along the southern flank of Snodgrass Mountain, connecting Gothic Road with Washington Gulch Road. It's mostly a beginner friendly ride, but it does have some short, steep sections, making it more of an intermediate-difficulty trail. Since it's just outside of the Mt. Crested Butte community, it remains a very popular trail for bikers, hikers, and horse riders. Note: portions of this trail may close after July or August for cattle grazing. When open, Snodgrass offers some marvelous views of Mt. Crested Butte and scenic riding through open meadows and thick aspen groves.
