COLORADO TRAIL: Molas Pass to Bolam Pass
Officially segment 25, this 19-mile stretch is particularly significant because it marks the beginning of the final 70 miles of the Colorado Trail, which "Bike" Magazine has crowned "the nation's premier alpine singletrack."  After a steep climb from Molas Pass, the trail follows the ridge top, through apline meadows and verdant creek crossings, and over two major passes before ending at Bolam Pass.  This segment is noteably difficult because nearly every mile lies above 11,000 feet in altitude! Awesome! By Little Molas Lake.
