Highline Canal Trail
This 70+ mile trail meanders diagonally through metro Denver from Waterton Canyon to northeast Aurora, to end a few miles shy of Denver International Airport. The pavement of the trail changes to gravel south of Hampden Avenue. From there it's an easy and beautiful ride through some of the area's richest neighborhoods. Many beginning mountain bikers discovered the joys of off-pavement riding on Highline.
